Do you want to remove the connected bracelet notification from Mi Fit? Does the notification keep popping up constantly even though you’ve tried to remove it?
If you haven’t found a way to get rid of the Mi Fit icon from your mobile’s notification bar, don’t worry, there is an option that will help you solve this problem. We will tell you how to do it in a few steps.
How To Remove The Connected Bracelet Notification From Mi Fit
When you link a fitness tracker to the Mi Fit app (now called Zepp Life), the app icon appears in the notification bar. This is not an error, but it is part of the dynamics of the app to show that the bracelet is linked.
So even if you try to remove this icon it remains permanently as long as you have the pulse connected. And so your mobile can be all day with the Mi Fit icon and the notification of “The bracelet is connected” anchored in the notification bar.
The first step we always take to manage notifications from an application is to go to the Android Settings. So you may have taken a look at Apps >> Manage notifications >> Zepp Life (ex Mi Fit) >> Show notifications.
However, even if you customize the way you want the notifications of the app to appear, you will see that there is no change concerning the connected wristband notification. In that case, you will have to apply one more adjustment.
To do this, go to the Zepp Life app, find the “Profile” tab and scroll down to “Settings”. In that section, you will find the option “Show the status in the notification bar”, as you see in the image. Just disable it and you will see the connected wristband notification icon disappear.
Don’t worry, this won’t affect the dynamics of the bracelet or the independent notifications you receive while it’s connected. And as you can see, it is not an irreversible action either, so you can re-enable this option so that the icon is visible in the notification bar.
